Registration FAQ


How do I register online?

The registration page can be found here. Please refer to this help page for further information.

How can I receive the discounted member rate for CCDI?

Current (paid for 2011 or 2012) members of CEDAM and also current CDC members of CDAD (Community Development Advocates of Detroit) will receive the discounted membership rate. To join or renew your CEDAM membership, please visit http://www.cedam.info/members/join.

To register online at the member rate, you will need to log in to our registration site with your email address. If this is your first time logging in, you will need to set a password (se e instructions here). If you are not able to log in, contact Katie Fritz at 517.485.388 for assistance.

Are there other discounts and deals available?

Yes! Visit the registration page to see our early-bird discount, single-day training specials and the "Training Mega Deal." These discounts are only available to members.

Are scholarships available for CCDI?

There are a limited number of scholarships available. Please send a letter documenting your particular circumstances (and which courses you are requesting assistance with) to tiffany@cedam.info.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the limited space available, registration fees are generally non-refundable. However, if there is a documented emergency, CEDAM will consider a one-time refund.

Training FAQ


Where will the trainings be held?

Trainings will be held in locations across the state. Please make sure you know where each training will be held before you register (see the full list here).

Do I have to pay for my own parking?

When free parking is unavailable, you will be responsible for your own parking expenses. Course agendas will include parking information.

Will food be provided?

Yes. For single-day trainings, CEDAM will provide continental breakfast, lunch, and a small snack, as well as coffee and tea. For the boot camp trainings, CEDAM will provide all meals and snacks. There will be vegetarian options. Please notify us of special dietary requirements ASAP.

Can I come just during the day for the boot camp trainings?

No. You must attend the entire training, including the overnight stays. We will have important activities in the evenings.
