CEDAM members may serve on any of three committees. Their work drives CEDAM's advocacy and training activities.

Public Policy Committee
- Helps direct CEDAM's advocacy efforts
- Attends trainings and advocacy events to become more familiar with the legislative process and Michigan elected officials
- Meets every other month by phone
- Shares opinions through e-mail and surveys between meetings

Training and Technical Assistance Committee
- Works with partners to plan, coordinate, and evaluate training opportunities for members
- Meets on an ad-hoc basis
