Corporation for Enterprise Development - The Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED) fosters widely shared and sustainable economic well-being. CFED promotes asset-building and economic opportunity strategies, primarily in low-income and distressed communities, that bring together community practice, public policy, and private markets in new and effective ways.

Corporation for Supportive Housing - The Corporation for Supportive Housing supports the expansion of permanent housing opportunities linked to comprehensive services for persons who face persistent: mental health; substance abuse; and other chronic health challenges, and are at risk of homelessness, so that they are able to live with: stability; autonomy; and dignity, and reach for their full potential.

Development Training Institute - Founded in 1981, The Development Training Institute (DTI) is America's premier trainer of leaders in community development. They offer comprehensive services to individuals and organizations working in community development.

Direct Action and Research Training Center (DART) - Provides training for organizational building.

Economic Success Clearinghouse - Database of policies that help low income and working poor.

Enterprise Foundation - The Enterprise Foundation and its 1,900 Network members work together to provide low-income people with affordable housing, safer streets and access to jobs and child care. The network consists of nonprofit, community-based organizations, public housing authorities, and Native American Tribes from around the country that work to create powerful partnerships to rebuild communities and empower people in neighborhoods nationwide.  Their mission is to see that all low-income people in the United States have the opportunity for fit and affordable housing and to move up and out of poverty into the mainstream of American life. In 1999 The Enterprise Foundation became the first nonprofit organization to build 100,000 homes for low-income families.

Enterprise Social Investment Corporation - The Enterprise Social Investment Corporation (ESIC), a subsidiary of The Enterprise Foundation, works with partners to finance, develop and acquire affordable housing and other community development initiatives in underserved neighborhoods across the country. ESIC undertakes a variety of initiatives in fulfillment of its mission.

First Nations Development Institute - Establishing long term viability of native assets

Guidestar - Guidestar serves as a national database of more than 700,000 nonprofit organizations.? Information on these nonprofits, such as background information and organizational 990 forms, is available on-line, as well as other access to other resources of use to the nonprofit community.

Habitat for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. We welcome all people to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable, houses in partnership with those in need of adequate shelter.  Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 100,000 houses in more than 60 countries, including some 30,000 houses across the United States.

Howard Samuels State Managment and Policy Center - Publishes reports on politics and policy at state and local levels.

IDA Network - The IDAnetwork serves as a gateway to the individuals, organizations, and ideas that are collectively shaping the Individual Development Account (IDA) field. As a member of this fast-growing, high-spirited community, you can exchange information and ideas about how to best structure IDA initiatives and policies that enable low-income families and individuals to save, build wealth, and contribute to the nation’s continued economic growth.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation - The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) provides grants, loans and equity investments to CDCs for neighborhood redevelopment. When LISC begins a new program, National LISC matches locally-raised funds and gives that much more to the community for renovation. The CDC then designates the funds to a variety of projects that will best suit the neighborhood, and the renovation begins.

Mazonson Inc. - Through a partnership with CEDAM, Mazonson Inc. provides low-cost insurance packages to CDCs.

National Affordable Housing Network - Provides resource efficient designs and construction plans for affordable housing

National Alliance of CED Associations (NACEDA) - Through its member network state associations, NACEDA represents more than 2,000 community development corporations.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill - Support and advocacy for people involved with mental health care.

National Alliance to End Homelessness - Education and policy work to end homelessness.

National American Indian Housing Council - Affordable housing for Native Americans and tribal housing entities.

National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials - The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) is the leading housing and community development advocate for the provision of adequate and affordable housing and strong, viable communities for all Americans - particularly those with low- and moderate-incomes. Our members administer HUD programs such as Public Housing, Section 8, CDBG and HOME.

National Coalition for the Homeless - Education, organization, and advocacy to end homelessness.

National Community Capital Association - CDFI network providing financing, training, consulting, and advocacy.

National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) - Works to increase private investment in distressed communities.

National Economic Development and Law Center - Facilitation for legal services for non profit and CED organizations.

National Equity Fund - NEF, Inc. was created in 1987 by Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to help fuel affordable housing development through syndication of low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs). Federal LIHTCs were enacted in 1986 and are allocated to affordable housing developments by state housing finance authorities, with the total allocation capped at $1.25 per person. Several states have also enacted state LIHTCs to complement the federal credit.  Investors and partner CDCs are highlighted at this site.

National Fund for Enterprise Development - Microenterprise development fund.

National Law Center for Homelessness and Poverty - Legal arm of campaign to end homelessness.

National Low Income Housing Coalition - Established in 1974, the National Low Income Housing Coalition/LIHIS is the only national organization dedicated solely to ending America's affordable housing crisis. The NLIHC is committed to educating, organizing, and advocating to ensure decent, affordable housing within healthy neighborhoods for everyone.  NLIHC provides up-to-date information, formulates policy, and educates the public on housing needs and the strategies for solutions.  The web site provides access to weekly news and alerts, publications, and other resources, including an extensive collection of links.

National Organizers Alliance - Advance organizing for social, environmental, and economic justice issues.

Neighborhood Centers Inc. - Houston human service organization.

Neighborhood Networks - Encourages property owners to establish multiservice community learning centers in HUD insured and assisted properties.

Neighborhoods Online - Resources for builders and organizers in community organizations.

Neighborworks America - This site is a function of the neighborhood revitalization and educational services offered by Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, Neighborhood Housing Services of America and a national network of public and private partnerships, the NeighborWorks® network. Resources found here provide information relating to a host of community-revitalization efforts from across the country.
