What is the history/purpose of your organization, in one sentence?
Helping people change lives.
What drives your passion for neighborhood/community and economic development?
I live in a fantastic and caring community. By helping in one of our service neighborhoods, in essence am helping my friends.
Why do you love Michigan?
There is no place like Michigan. I love to travel to other states but I always love to come home to Michigan. I guess I am spoiled by what our state can offer us.
How do your family and/or community inspire your work?
My family inspires me to continue with my work because they know that I go to work every day to help others. I am very blessed and proud with the family I have been given.
What do you do in your free time (if it exists!)?
Free time is family time. I am at that stage where time is flying by and my young men are growing up way too fast. So both my husband and myself try very hard be involved with our boys to have at least one of us in the stands cheering them on.
