What is the history/purpose of your organization, in one sentence?

Venture’s mission is to provide quality, energy efficient, affordable housing for persons of low and moderate-income levels by facilitating home purchase, rehabilitation, construction and lending and to perform other community development activities to assist in such objectives.

What drives your passion for neighborhood/community and economic development?

The strength of Michigan lies in its individual communities. Neighborhood and Community Development helps these communities to realize their full potential.

Why do you love Michigan?

This is where I was born and raised.  It is where my heart is.

How do your family and/or community inspire your work?

I want to keep Michigan vibrant for my children and future generations.

What do you do in your free time (if it exists!)?

What free time? If I do find some free time I try to spend it with my wife Patrice and our five kids.
