today, CEDAM received the following information from
MSHDA
via email:
"On
December
21, 2007,
Governor Granholm sent a letter request to the
MSHDA board
regarding the boards approval of the 2008/09 QAP,
including
the Winter 2008 funding round. That letter
was previously posted on the
MSHDA website and con be
viewed by going to www.michigan.gov/mshda. A
special
meeting of MSHDA will be held on Friday,
January 4, 2008
to
consider the Governor's request. This meeting will
be held in MSHDA's
Detroit Office and will also be
simulcast via video link in MSHDA's
Lansing Office.
The public may attend the meeting in either
location.
The special meeting will start at 3
p.m.
Submission
of applications under the 2008/09 QAP for the Winter
funding
round was conditioned on approval of the QAP.
Since approval has not
yet been obtained, the Winter
funding round calling for application
submission by
January
7, 2008
is suspended and will be rescheduled
following the MSHDA
board's special meeting.
This updated information
will be available on MSHDA's web site, sometime
after noon
today, on the following pages:
