At a special meeting of
the MSHDA Board of Directors yesterday, the Board acted to
rescind the actions it took on December 6 and approve a new
resolution outlined as follows:

A second lottery round
is scheduled for January 5, 2008 under the
2005-6 QAP
using 25% of 2008 credits and WITHOUT the 50% holdback
for
Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park that was
discussed on December 6.

The 2008-9 QAP was
approved with changes proposed by staff on December 6.
A round using 75% of 2008 credits under this new QAP
is scheduled for April 1, 2008.

The
two issues are tie-barred in going before the Governor for
her
signature.
Authority staff has
calculated the amount of 2008 tax
credit to be allocated in the Winter Funding Round.
